Thomas Gourmet Foods is proud to partner with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® to provide a fund-raising resource through two Thomas Gourmet Foods Products, Mama Thomas Spaghetti Sauce and Thomas BBQ Sauce. These specially labeled products are available to Make-A-Wish chapters at wholesale prices to aid fund-raising efforts.
A fund-raising program has been especially designed by Thomas Gourmet Foods for Make-A-Wish chapters. The program is a plate dinner concept that is easy for volunteers to manage with minimum support from chapter staff. The program can also include retail sales of Thomas Spaghetti and BBQ Sauce at the dinner and e-commerce sales managed by Thomas Gourmet Foods long after the dinner is completed. E-commerce sales will benefit the chapter where the buyer resides. | ||

The dinner program is easy to manage. Chapters simply purchase a dinner fund-raising package that includes detailed event materials such as Make-A-Wish branded hats, aprons, marketing signs, and table tent cards. The package also includes a detailed list of everything needed, from plates to ice, and projects potential costs and profits.
![]() Food service sizes of sauce, not for retail sale, are supplied for preparing fund raising dinners. Thomas BBQ Sauce in 14 oz. bottles and Mama Thomas Spaghetti Sauce in 26 oz. jars are furnished for retail sales at the event. These items may also be purchased at any time on-line at ThomasGourmetFoods.com. A total of $2.50 from each jar purchased at set retail prices will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. This $2.50 donation applies to both event and e-commerce sales. | ||

This fund raising program is designed for chapters to raise monies from plate dinner sales, retail sales of sauces at the fund raisers and through e-commerce sales. Profits from e-commerce sales will continue long after the fund raisers are over, and the profits will be credited to the chapter where the sale originated. The e-commerce sales will be handled by Thomas Gourmet Foods.
Dinner worksheets are provided for different size dinners and make it easy for chapters to determine potential profits from dinner sales. Everything is outlined and priced. Example extensions are provided for you and you can even place your order online. Need help? Thomas Gourmet Foods personnel are available to assist you and walk you through each step to determine potential profits. First, decide the dinner and the potential number of plates to sell. Your chapter or volunteer group can calculate the package price, costs, and additional items needed using the worksheet. Once you fill in the blanks, you will have an overview of your potential revenues, costs and profits. It is important to note that many items may be donated. However, the special Make-A-Wish labeled sauces purchased at wholesale prices should be used in order to make the long-term program work. The future e-commerce sales are the key for chapters to earn incremental funds. All e-commerce sales are credited to the chapter where the sale originated.
